Multi Party System in INDIA...!!

I am an Indian, & like most of the Indians, I am proud of my nation. The nation has extreme potential, which could just be understood from the fact that in just 61 years of its freedom, it has gained its own position globally.
Be it IT sector, nuclear sector, educational sector, space programs bla bla bla..., it has its own identity now.
However, what i think is, that the progress would have been more prominent and fast if the governing body here in INDIA was more strong and more dedicated towards issues of national benefits rather than there personal ones.
Here, in India the governing body is the national party winning majority in assembly elections. Till here everything is fine. But the problem arises from the fact that a multi-party system is practiced here. One would not believe that in the currently going 2009 elections, no. of parties registered are more than the no. of seats in assembly! The reason for allowing a multi party system in constitution was nice though. they just thought that India is a big country, and to consider the issues of all parts of the nation would not be possible if a two party system was applied. So, a multi-party system came into existence. But in the current scenario, the parties are made just for personal benefits.
If a candidate fails to get ticket, he will merely leave the party and will create a new one. Is this was the reason behind the multi-party concept? Even after such a huge no. of parties, if the elections are fought on basis of filthy issues like caste, religion & name of a person, then what is the significance of this system?
I know the system is genuine, but in the current scenario, it simply needs either more talented and dedicated youths in national politics or just a two party system at least at the center.

Level of school education in india..!!
Related to country: India

The way in which the education system of India is organized, can't be appreciated. There isn't any unique system of education here. At the top there is a national system which adopts CBSE pattern. This particular syllabus is nicely organized and is updated as per modern needs regularly. Then there are State board education system. Here system of education varies from state to state, and here arises the problem. In some states, state level education is to poor expect anything from the students. With this kind of education system, mainly two kind of problems arise. First, is the quality of education. Since, the quality of education varies from state to sate, the level of knowledge and brilliance among students also varies heavily.
secondly, it gives chance for the institutes, using CBSE pattern education, get a heavy freedom to charge fee. Also, in state boards, there is classification among medium, english and hindi medium. How funny...!!

A single system needs to be practiced all over India, with a single medium, with a proper emphasis on English, and required respect for the national language, Hindi...!!
